Núñez Residence – Sculptural Architecture in North Miami

Located in Keystone Point, North Miami, the Núñez Residence is a three-level custom home encompassing over 12,000 sq. ft. of construction and 8,000 sq. ft. under A/C. Designed as a statement of bold geometry and fluid composition, the residence breaks away from the traditional architectural typology of the area, establishing itself as a sculptural landmark within its context.

Concept & Design

​

The home’s most distinctive feature is its landscaped rooftop overlooking Biscayne Bay, accessible through a sculptural spiral staircase that emerges from a cascading garden and integrates seamlessly into the façade. This vertical garden, starting on the second level and rising in staggered layers to the third, creates a living tapestry visible from the street — a fusion of nature and architecture.

The entrance is defined by the monumentality of a double strut, extending from front to back, emphasizing balance, rhythm, and proportion. Inside, the spatial organization reveals a thoughtful interplay between open communal spaces and private retreats distributed across three levels.

First Level – Parking, foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, laundry, powder room, terrace, and pool.

Second Level – Three bedrooms, two terraces, and a gym.

Third Level – Office, playroom, additional bedroom, master suite, and four terraces.

Architectural Vision

​

The Núñez Residence transcends conventional residential design. It is conceived as a sculptural work of architecture, where luxury, functionality, and nature converge into one cohesive composition. Every surface, volume, and transition is designed to evoke emotion, while natural light, materials, and vegetation become integral to the experience.
